FAQs
What is Elastic VPS compared to containers?Elastic VPS (Virtual Private Server) provides full virtual machines, while containers share the host OS for lighter workloads. VPS offers more isolation and flexibility, but requires manual configuration of the hosted applications.
Which operating systems are available for Elastic VPS?Available OS images include various Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian, and AlmaLinux) and, depending on the provider, Windows VMs.
How do I access my VPS?All VPS are automatically provided with public IP addresses for remote access. Use it for connecting to your VPS instance over SSH for Linux or RDP for Windows-based VMs.
Can I resize my VPS instances?Yes. You can resize your VPS instances in the same way as containers, adjusting resources such as CPU, RAM, and disk space to meet your changing needs. Horizontal scaling (adding more instances) is also supported.
