Virtuozzo and Networld Partner to Provide Alternative to Traditional Virtualization in Japan

Virtuozzo, a global leader in alternative cloud platforms for service providers, today announced a strategic distribution partnership with Networld Co., Ltd. Through this agreement, Networld has started offering Virtuozzo Hybrid Infrastructure in Japan, empowering service providers with a flexible, high-performance, and cost-effective alternative to traditional virtualization platforms such as VMware.

The partnership aims to support Japanese cloud service providers, managed service providers, and hosting service providers that are seeking to modernize infrastructure, reduce costs, and avoid vendor lock-in — especially in light of licensing and pricing changes from legacy vendors. By combining Virtuozzo’s enterprise-grade, service provider-ready platform with Networld’s market reach and technical expertise, the two companies will accelerate the adoption of next-generation cloud services across the country.

“Japan’s cloud ecosystem is evolving fast, and we’re excited to be part of it,” said Jan‑Jaap Jager, COO & President of Virtuozzo. “Service providers here are actively looking for alternatives that put them back in control without the high costs or complexity of traditional platforms. With Networld, we’re making it easier for them to deliver scalable, compliant, and profitable cloud services that truly fit the needs of the Japanese market.”
