1. Overview

The cumulative Virtuozzo ReadyKernel patch updated with security fixes. The patch applies to Virtuozzo versions 7.0.0, 7.0.1, and 7.0.3.

2. Security Fixes

  • [Important] The tcp_splice_read function in net/ipv4/tcp.c in the Linux kernel before 4.9.11 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (infinite loop and soft lockup) via vectors involving a TCP packet with the URG flag. (CVE-2017-6214)
  • [Moderate] A privileged user inside a container could cause a host kernel crash in udp_lib_get_port(). (PSBM-57512)
