Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
The IaaS tab on the Virtuozzo Cloud panel provides integration with the OpenStack-based infrastructure management platform. Here, you can enable and manage your infrastructure as a service projects that allow creating scalable Virtual Machines and Kubernetes clusters.

Below, we’ll check how to:
Creating IaaS Project
1. Go to the IaaS tab and click the Add Project button.

2. On the opened page, you need to select a Region for your new IaaS project. To ensure the best user experience, select the location geographically closest to you (or your customers).
Optionally, you can provide a Custom Project Name.
Lastly, agree to the Terms of Service and click Add Project.

3. Wait a few minutes for the project to be created and set up.

Working with IaaS Project
1. You can see a list of all your IaaS projects at the bottom of the IaaS tab. Click Manage for the one you want to examine.

2. The Management Panel provides the following project information and actions:
- The Log In To Panel button redirects to the IaaS self-service panel.
- You can view the access credentials for connecting to IaaS in the Server Infromation section.

- The Metrics section provides consumption tracking data.
- The Additional Information tab contains other supplementary data (e.g., custom project name).

3. To connect to the IaaS project, go to the project’s management panel
- Click the eye icon next to Password to reveal it and copy to the clipboard.

- Click Log In To Panel and provide authentication credentials to access the IaaS project self-service panel.

4. Once connected, you can start working on your project. Refer to the linked guide for more information.

For example, your first steps can be:
- create a simple private network for virtual machines
- create a router in that network for VMs to be able to connect to the Internet
- once networking is prepared, proceed to VM creation
- after the VM is deployed, you can set a password for it and try connecting
